Holiday Season
Needs Your Design Flair
Lavish
corporate parties won’t play well this holiday season
but your expertise as event planners will still be in demand,
only you’ll be working in smaller rooms with smaller
budgets. Decorating a stark office building may be far more
challenging than working with a luxury hotel or resort but
how well you create a warm atmosphere for guests in a tough
season impacts whether you will get the call again the following
season.
- Establish gathering
areas as central points of social activity
- Pay attention
to foot traffic patterns
- Set a gift area
to support any Secret Santa or other gift-giving programs
- Put colors everywhere
to boost the mood and spirit
These
poly balls add big drops of red, green or several other colors.
They are weatherproof, lightweight polyethylene and can be
placed outside within landscaping or lining walkways and can
be placed inside in baskets, on shelves or anywhere a splash
of color is desired.

This gurgling, two-tier baby fountain fits on a table to bring
the serenity of a garden inside. It creates a memory
point and fills empty corners or areas with the soothing sounds
of water.

New
in the Photo Gallery:
Reversed Arch System

Without
spending a cent, wedding planner Will Hall of Your Wedding
Solution, Balto, Md. created a new and different look for
a wedding stage by rotating his colonnade arch system 180
degrees. (He turned it around.) Highlighted with warm, yellow
lighting, the reversed colonnade created a welcoming circle
that hugged the wedding party and focused attention on the
central attraction.
